Here are the detailed steps to move a diagram from one model to another and resolve missing elements. The process to move a diagram is to copy it and all referenced elements into a package, export the package as a controlled unit, and import that package into the destination model. Diagram icons which refer to unloaded or otherwise missing model elements have a "circle-M" or "(M)" flag added to them. The difficulty in moving diagrams is that if the underlying element is not also moved, or already present in the destination model, the diagram will show that the referenced element is missing. Rose diagrams are pictures of model elements stored elsewhere in the model. Rose is not designed to move a diagram easily from one model to another.
